Assembly Manual
Starting off square and level is essential to a successful shed assembly and we recommend that you consider a base kit to self-square the shed and help level the site. Base kits are available for the majority of Arrow sheds. The base kit must be assembled with your selected floor finishing option before you start to build your shed. Use the flooring material that best suits your needs, such as wood, patio blocks, or gravel. The base kit may also be used as a form for pouring concrete. Find the base kit size for your shed.
- The Arrow base kit is made of durable hot-dipped electro-galvanized steel
- Keeps building and stored items off the ground
- Easy to install
- Includes all hardware
- Does not include floor all finishing materials (If finishing with wood flooring, use exterior-grade plywood, measured to base kit dimensions.)

8x10 base kit
Pieced come together nicely and made a nice square frame for my shed. The only issue I had was that all the pieces are made the same size so when you have to slide one into the other it causes a bulge and makes it so the holes don't want to line up the best and the joint bulges.

what is the dimensions for a plywood base for a 6ft x 5ft ezee metal shed
Hello,
Per the assembly instructions, the suggested wood/concrete base for this shed is listed as 68 1/2" x 56 1/2". Please note that the platform should be level and flat (free of bumps, ridges etc.) to provide good support for the building and Pressure Treated Lumber must not be used where it will make contact with your storage building. If you would like to discuss this in more detail, please feel free to call us at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1).
Thank you

For a 10x6 shed, have 2 questions for FDN106 base: does every inch of base frame perimeter have to be supported by blocks and the load limit for entire Plywood floor on base is 200-300 lbs? Will you have the FDN106 in stock in near future?
Hello,
There are several options for constructing the base, such as wood, gravel, and pouring concrete. Whichever choice you decide to construct the base with, the whole base kit perimeter must be fully supported because the platform needs to be level and flat (free of bumps, ridges, etc.) to provide good support for the building once you start to erect it. As for replenishment details, please call in at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1).
Thank you

Will this base kit work with your Commander series sheds with swinging doors?
Hi Jim,
This base kit is not compatible with our Commander series. We suggest pouring a concrete slab for that model. If you have any additional questions please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1).

I see that this is no to be used elevated from the ground, but sitting on the ground. How long is this going to last sitting on the ground? What is the warranty on the base?
This is copied straight from the base kit instruction guide . . . IMPORTANT NOTE: If leveling blocks are required due to uneven ground conditions, the base kit must be completely supported along outside perimeter, because the kit is not self supporting. . . My understanding is, that it can be done, but leveling blocks should be laid end-to-end along the whole perimeter.

What is the load rating for the FDN109 as opposed to the FB109-A with 5/8" plywood? How about with 3/4" plywood? Thanks!
Hello,
Both can hold between 200 and 300 pounds distributed through the floor.
